Arcoxia is said to be the new Vioxx for Merck and Co., and is used for:

  • Treatment of gouty arthritis
  • Relief of acute pain
  • Relief of chronic musculoskeletal pain
  • Management of ankylosing spondylitis
  • Acute and chronic treatment of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

What is Osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis is a joint disease, and results from the cartilage covering the joints and cushions of boes to gradually breakdown. Symptoms of osteoarthritis include:

  • Pain
  • Tenderness &
  • Stiffness of one or more joints
