During all of the hurricanes did you purchase a gas generator? Many people buy these generators not knowing the risks associated with them. On March 18, 2009, Sycamore Pro Gas Generators were recalled due to a fire hazard risk. “A plastic sediment cup attached to the bottom of the fuel valve can crack during shipping and handling and cause fuel leakage or spillage”. About 1,500 units have already been recalled and consumers should stop using theirs immediately if they haven’t replaced the sediment cup yet. You can contact Sycamore SCS for a free replacement sediment cup.
