Today it was announced that famous Tejano singer, Emilio Navaira, was upgraded to fair condition. The good news comes over three weeks after he was seriously injured when his tour bus struck a barrier on Interstate 610 after playing a show in Houston.

The news of the accident spread quickly throughout the Tejano community and has been met with a tremendous out-pouring of support and concern for the Grammy-winning star.

Officials at Memorial-Hermann-Texas Medical Center announced Wednesday that his condition had improved from critical to fair condition. They said more details on his condition would be provided at a news conference with his Dr. Alex Valadka and the singer's wife Maria Navaira on Friday

we thank GOD for hearing our prayers for Emillio, he has heard our cry for one of our performers and now we know that the power of pray does work.. He had millions of fans praying for him and of course he is also a fighter. Gracias Padre por dejarnos a Emillio otro rato. May God Bless You and Your Family.
